Alfa Laval to showcase newly launched marine solutions at Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress 2026

Alfa Laval will participate in the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress 2026, taking place on 21 and 22 October in Jeddah. The company will meet customers, partners and industry stakeholders to present its latest innovations for vessel efficiency, energy transition, environmental compliance and reliable marine operations.

Visitors are invited to D174 to discover solutions spanning the marine portfolio, including new-fuel technologies, onboard energy efficiency, voyage optimization, ballast water management and lifecycle services.

Enhancing onboard energy efficiency

Alfa Laval offers a broad range of technologies to help vessels reduce fuel consumption, improve operational efficiency and meet evolving performance requirements, including EEDI, EEXI and CII.

Highlights include the energy-efficient AQUA Blue Mini freshwater generator, the OceanGlide fluidic air lubrication system and Alfa Laval heat transfer solutions engineered for compatibility with a wide range of existing and emerging fuels.

Supporting the fuels transition

Alfa Laval will showcase technologies supporting the transition to lower-carbon marine fuels, including solutions for LNG, LPG, biofuels, methanol and ammonia.

Highlights include biofuel-ready fuel lines, Aalborg multi-fuel boilers and low-flashpoint fuel supply systems. These solutions are designed to support safe, efficient and future-ready vessel operations as fuel strategies continue to evolve.

PureBallast 3 launched in the Middle East

Alfa Laval will also highlight the PureBallast 3 ballast water management system, newly launched in the Middle East. PureBallast 3 is designed to deliver reliable treatment performance across a wide range of water conditions while minimizing power consumption.

The solution supports shipowners and operators in meeting IMO and USCG ballast water management requirements. Alfa Laval will also present its Compliance Service Package for PureBallast, providing system upgrades, lifecycle support and assistance with long-term regulatory compliance.

New digital solutions for voyage optimization

Alfa Laval will together with StormGeo introduce voyage optimization to the Middle East market, showcasing how digital tools can help shipowners, operators and charterers improve voyage planning, reduce fuel consumption and enhance operational decision-making.

StormGeo’s voyage intelligence combines voyage planning, route optimization, weather intelligence and fleet performance in one connected ecosystem. The solution supports real-time monitoring, compliance reporting, bunker procurement and post-voyage analysis—helping customers make smarter voyage decisions and improve vessel performance.

Visitors to the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress can explore these solutions and discuss collaboration opportunities with Alfa Laval experts at D174.
